About Me

I am restored in mind, body and soul when in or near the ocean and water in general, spending time with loved ones, enjoying favorite foods and trying new ones, moving my body, being with my fur children, and listening to music.

My formal education includes a B.S. in Social Work from UNC-Greensboro and a Masters in Social Work-Direct Practice from Texas State University.

I have been practicing since 2011. As a social worker and therapist, I have worked in sliding scale community mental health clinics, medical social work settings, a group private practice specializing in eating disorders, and in-patient substance use and addiction recovery centers.

Commitment to Excellence

I continually pursue professional and personal development so that I may consistently show up for my clients and provide a safe and secure container for curiosity and healing. A few of the therapeutic perspectives and approaches I have received certifications or trainings in are:

Brainspotting Phase One
Foundations of Polyvagal Informed Practice with Deb Dana
Linda Thai's Somatic Embodiment and Regulation Strategies
Shamanic Practitioner Training with Karen Hutchins
IFS (Parts Work) 101 Workshop
Polyvagal & Shamanic Informed Clinical Consultation Group with Eamon Willow
Monthly Polyvagal Theory Consultation Group
Wholeness is not achieved by cutting off a portion of one’s being, but by integration of the contraries.
